Codes Released for April 22 Pre-Sale of Games Tickets

CrossFit Games tickets have a history of selling out fast.

That’s why we’ve decided to offer a chance at the best seats in the house to CrossFit affiliates that had 12 or more members register for the 2016 Open.

These affiliates qualify for the April 22 Pre-Sale of CrossFit Games tickets. The Pre-Sale will operate through the ticketing website, AXS.com, and function the same as the Public Sale with one exception: you’ll need a code.

Today, we added these codes to Affiliate Managers’ competition pages. We recommend finding your code now and recording it so that you’ll have it available on April 22.

To find your affiliate’s code, have your Affiliate Manager:

1. Login.

2. Click “Affiliate: Manage.”

3. Record code.

The codes are transferrable. Anyone can use a code to make a single purchase of up to eight All Access Packages. (Not sure what “All Access Package” means exactly? Learn more about the new ticketing system here.)

Contact [email protected] if you do not have a code and you know your affiliate meets the 12-person minimum. (Keep in mind that these codes are only on the Affiliate Manager’s competition page. The Affiliate Manager is the person who oversaw the Open at your affiliate and validated your scores).

Tickets may still go fast. Over 7,800 affiliates qualified for the Pre-Sale, and there are approximately 9,000 All Access ticket packages available. For the best odds at getting your ideal seats, we recommend being ready to buy when tickets are released the morning of April 22 (Pacific Time).

All remaining ticket packages will be released to the general public on April 28.

Regional Tickets for Affiliate Owners at Will Call

Each affiliate owner (Licensee of Record) will receive a complimentary three-day ticket to their local regional.

Due to a technical difficulty, we cannot send the complimentary three-day tickets via email to affiliate owners. Instead, all complimentary tickets will be held at the venue’s Will Call under the name of the LOR. The LOR will need to show ID to receive the ticket.

An Ideal Villa Makeover

“We are 251 steps to the beach,” Donna Porritt says as I step into her Mariner’s Watch villa, “but who’s counting?”

At 625 square feet, there is a lot about the villa that could rely on numbers. Whether you attribute the tiny house movement or reducing your carbon footprint, the art of downsizing—living full time in a significantly small space without sacrificing the luxuries and belongings that matter to you most—is fun, and Donna and husband Sam Bromage perfected it by having “right-sized” living in mind from the start of their renovation until the day they brought the last of their belongings from Connecticut.

Regional Volunteer Teams Full

As of last night, we have filled all of our regional volunteer teams. Thank you to everyone who signed up. Together we’ll make the 2016 regionals the best yet.

Charis Chan Suspended From Competition

CrossFit, Inc. has been informed and believes that Charis Chan failed a drug test at the American Open Weightlifting Championships. While Chan is disputing the results and has not yet been officially sanctioned by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), CrossFit, Inc. is suspending her from further participation in the current CrossFit Games season pursuant to Rule 11 of the 2016 CrossFit Games Drug Testing Program. Her results will be removed from the Open leaderboard and invitations to the California Regional will be adjusted. CrossFit will issue a final ruling on her competition status for following seasons once her appeal has been decided.
