Minutes after the close of the Invitational, CrossFit Games director Dave Castro made 2 announcements about the upcoming 2017 season.
Athletes in the 35-39 age range will now have a division in the Masters competition.
The 2017 Games finals will take place in Madison, WI.

With 3 teams at a near tie heading into the final, the Europe Team won Event 7 to take home the title for the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games Invitational.
