More Community Awards for Kiawah Island

On the heels of being named the number 1 island the United States in Condé Nast’s 2014 Reader’s Choice Awards, the Kiawah Island Club’s golf courses have received honors of their own. Golfweek‘s 2015 list of the Top 100 Residential Golf Courses in the United States saw jumps in the rankings for both Cassique and the River course.

Russell Henley: Two-Time PGA Tour Winner Partners With The Kiawah Island Club

The Kiawah Island
 Club has a new ambassador on the PGA Tour this year as two-time winner Russell Henley, is now representing Kiawah Island. Through this 
newly formed partnership between The Kiawah Island Club and Henley, Kiawah Island will 
benefit from additional exposure in influential golf circles and allow Henley to become an active participant in the Kiawah community, spending time with Members and prospects. Additionally, the Kiawah Island Club logo is prominently displayed on his golf bag.

Henley is originally from Macon, Georgia and competed at the University of Georgia where he won the 2010 Haskins Award as the nation’s top collegiate golfer, and in his first two years competing on the PGA Tour, he has already won the 2013 Sony Open and 2014 Honda Classic. When not traveling on tour, Henley will split his time between Kiawah and Charleston.

Oceanfront Sale Drives Values Island Wide

The ocean tides that rise and fall along the South Carolina coast reach their peak twice within every 24-hour period. Using a maritime metaphor, the most recent low tide for Kiawah’s real estate market occurred in 2009. This Fall, Island Athletes Tri Harder

With miles and miles of paved trails, a ten-mile stretch of powder-soft shoreline, and a state-of-the-art athletics center, Kiawah entices fitness fanatics with a call to run longer, swim faster, bike further. On Sunday, September 21, the second annual Tri-Kiawah triathlon will challenge the Lowcountry’s most disciplined athletes across the magnificent land and seascapes of the Island.

Kiawah’s 2014 Summer Heats up with Landmark Sale

On Tuesday, July 15, 2014 history was made on Kiawah Island when 99 Flyway, a seven-acre undeveloped homesite with 250 feet of Atlantic Ocean views, closed for $22 million. It is the largest residential real estate transaction in the Island’s history.
