Friday Night Event: Double DT

In 2015, Friday’s programming was put to a vote on Twitter. Fans got to choose between Heavy DT and Double DT—heavy won.

In 2016, Double DT will get its due. Tonight the athletes will compete in a variation of the Hero WOD. DT was created in honor of USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, who was killed on February, 20, 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED. Timothy was survived by his wife Megan and one-year old son T.J. DT first appeared on CrossFit.com on April 14, 2009.

With Murph in the morning and DT at night, it’s Hero Friday at the CrossFit Games.
