The Tennis Stadium at the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games has been sold out, but that’s about to change. Approximately 500 All Access Red Ticket Packages will be released this Wednesday, June 8, at AXS.com (12 p.m. PT).

CrossFit and the StubHub Center have teamed up to build a new fourth bleacher on the North East corner of the Tennis Stadium, creating room for more fans. This is your last chance to get in to see Ben Smith and Katrin Davidsdottir defend their titles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

All Access Red Ticket Packages ($225) provide access to the entirety of the Games at the StubHub Center, including the Masters, Teenagers, Teams and Individuals. Red ticketing provides general admission access to the bleachers at the top of the Tennis Stadium Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Laura Phelps-Sweatt and Westside Conjugate Sanctioned

CrossFit has banned Laura Phelps-Sweatt from all CrossFit-sanctioned competitions for one year, and disqualified her team, Westside Conjugate, from the 2016 Central Regional due to a drug policy violation.

Collection agents from Drug Free Sport, at CrossFit’s request, recently contacted Phelps-Sweatt for the purpose of conducting an out-of-competition drug test. She did not meet with agents to provide a sample. Phelps-Sweatt’s failure to submit to the drug test constitutes a violation of the CrossFit Games Drug Testing Policy and carries similar sanctions as a positive drug test.

Phelps-Sweatt served as the affiliate manager of CrossFit Conjugate, and as a member of the Westside Conjugate regional-qualifying team.

South Leaderboard Adjustment

The list of qualifying women from the South Regional has been adjusted. Following the final heat, Michaela North filed an appeal for a judgment call made during Event 7. She was issued a no-rep for clinching the rope with her legs prior to completing her final rope climb. Initially, the appeal was granted and her placement was adjusted to 5th place overall in the event, resulting in a 3rd place finish overall.

Following the awards presentation, additional review showed that she did not have a right to appeal the ruling on the floor. From the CrossFit Games Rulebook: “Judgment calls made during an event are final and are not negotiable or subject to change, modification or appeal.” As part of the further review, her call was also reviewed by video and confirmed to be a clear no-rep.

“Athletes know that judgment calls are part of the game. It’s in the Rulebook and repeated on-site during their briefings. In this case, our on-site team incorrectly handled the appeal process and made an error in adjusting the leaderboard,” said Justin Bergh, the General Manager of the CrossFit Games. “This is an unfortunate way to end a great competition, but it is unquestionably the right call at the end of the day.”

The leaderboard has been adjusted and the qualifying women are:

1. Camille Leblanc-Bazinet
2. Whitney Cappellucci
3. Alexis Johnson
4. Tennil Reed
5. Candice Wagner
